Hal Blaine
January 1964 – Present (49 years 11 months)
Greater Los Angeles Area
To the left is a picture of "The Wrecking Crew" after a live to CD performance at the Baked Potato in North Hollywood posing with a bulldoser. It was parked outside of the club to honor the "Wrecking Crew." The band consisted of Hollywoods finest Hal Blaine on Drums, Don Randi on Keyboards, Carol Kaye on Bass, Rick Vittallo on Guitar, Nancy Sinatra sat in for a few songs, and the list goes on. It was a magical unforgettable evening and a huge honor for Rick to share the stage with such ledgends.
"Iconic drummer of the original "Wrecking Crew," my Godfather, educator, and friend. Uncle Hal Blaine, has taught me the ins and outs, ups and downs, and to have a deep respect of all aspects of the music industry in both recording and live performance. He is the most influential presence in my life. My appreciation and love for him is eternal."
